Background Chardāvol County lies on the north east of the province, neighboring ilam and Eyvān counties and Kermanshah and Lurestan provinces and its capital is Sarāblé city. Sarāblé is 30 kilometers from ilam and surrounded by Lena, Kherma and Bānkul mountains. Chardāvol River is the most important river of the city Which joins the Seymaré River after passing Chardāvol Valley. Sarāblé’s summers are hot and its Winters are cold and enjoying beautiful springs. There are many ancient hills around the city. Chardāvol County has three districts: Markazi (Central), Zagros and Holeylān. Having two rivers of Chardāvol and Seymaré, caused in agriculture and husbandry prosperity of the county With rice as the main product that is Well-known in the province.

    2 kilometers from Shabāb town, eastern of Khorram forest park on heights of Khorram Mountain, there is a Cave named Chehelsotun (having forty Columns) for many natural stone Column it has. The Cave's mouth is small in size but after entering, it emerges a great vestibule opposite the eyes that surprises the Witness. Local people say it is 500 meters long.
